I am a PhD Biostatistics student and a graduate student researcher at UCLA. My current research focuses on joint models for longitudinal and time-to-event data for personalized medicine, i.e., predicting patients' survival probabilities that are dynamically updated as additional information is recorded. My long-term goal is to contribute to realizing an extended healthy lifespan in Japan, as both a biostatistician and a business developer. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am into keeping fit to live up to the age of 150.
